While most school’s have one of their own, we are extremely proud of the diverse, energetic and powerful Student Council here at Scoil Chríost Rí.
We empower our students to make the voice of the student body be heard in a practical but meaningful way and it has come from the constant student input that has led to some real change and improvement in our policies and practices over the years.
Our Student Council aims to make life easier and also a lot more fun. We organise many events throughout the academic year which brings something different to student life here. Fun Days, events and trips away are always on our agenda but our job is more than just to make school fun. It also strives to make our school safer and more accepting
We meet weekly to discuss issues across all year groups and come up with ideas and events that can help to resolve these issues.
Our Student Council has three girls elected by their peers from each year group and is also assisted by other student leadership teams and representatives to form a really hard-working and effective Student Council at Scoil Chríost Rí.
