Challenge to Change is a development education project aimed at young people attending the Presentation Sisters primary and post-primary schools in Ireland. The initiative seeks to raise awareness and understanding of development issues and global inequality through the exploration and engagement in issues surrounding as (in)justice, human rights, fairtrade, racism, exploitation, etc.
Our TY students engaging in the Challange-2-Change project are making positive differences by
- Collecting old batteries and cables to be recycled
- Making a positive difference in our local community by setting up a litter pick along the Borris Road.
- Reminding staff to turn off the lights and switch off computers when not in use.

Students were honoured to be invited to be guests at the Holocaust Memorial, where they had the opportunity to meet Holocaust survivor Suzi Diamond and Taoiseach Micheál Martin.
