What is Technology?
Technology is a practical based subject. Students work with metal, wood and plastic to create projects that they have designed themselves. Students also study areas such as electronics, mechanisms, structures and technology & society.
The subject develops key problem solving and collaboration skills that are extremely useful when students move onto third level or out into the real world.
Students build on what they have studied and learned during the junior cycle programme, moving on to more advanced projects.
