Guidance and counselling refers to a range of learning experiences provided in a developmental sequence that assist students to make informed and effective choices about their futures.

Some Guidance activities that assist students in the decision making process include:

    •    Bullying- drama in education workshop (SPHE)
    •    Administration of Tests for Diagnostic Purposes (DATS, CAT4 etc.,)
    •    Study Skills Workshop
    •    Cross curricular themed weeks and competitions (e.g. Healthy Eating Week)
    •    Letters of Application and CV Preparation
    •    Interview Prep. Workshop
    •    Work Experience Preparation 
    •    Visiting Speakers from colleges & industry
    •    UCAS – Application Process
    •    Vocational Guidance Interviews
    •    Open Day and Career event information
