Scoil Chríost Rí welcomes students of all nationalities, with students from 33 different countries currently attending our school. Proficiency in English language is essential for daily living skills and education. We endeavour to meet the language needs of EAL learners so that they can acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to become proficient users of English.
English language proficiency tests are used to determine a student's level of English and help to target support appropriately.
EAL students are also encouraged and supported to maintain a dynamic connection to their own language and culture throughout their school life. Each year, we invite students to represent their home countries and languages on International Language & Culture Day.
